This post is brought to you in association with Alex and Alexa

I’m always on the hunt for cool footwear for my tot. Shoes are the one thing I never buy second hand, partly because I’m protective of her feet (she has hypermobile joints requiring special hospital-issue insoles) and partly because I never seem to find shoes in her size that I like when I’m browsing the rails.

So I was a bit excited to find the amazing selection of gorgeous kids Vans shoes at Alex and Alexa. These are seriously cool.

Vans kids shoesI can just imagine my three year old styling these out with a pair of comfy leggings, jeans or skirt and funky tights.

Despite the coolness and the label, the prices are pretty decent too. It might surprise you if I told you the cost of these beauties start from £26 – that’s £12 cheaper than the new boots I’ve just bought her from a major high street kids’ shoe retailer.

It’s no secret that I love bright colours when it comes to kids’ clothes. I also love bold prints and a sense of fun. To be honest, I have the exact same criteria when I’m choosing trainers for myself!

These shoes from Vans tick all the boxes on my checklist – they’re bright, comfy and, above all else, fun.

Which are your favourites?
