Since starting this blog almost six years ago I’ve enjoyed working with a wide variety of brands on some brilliant campaigns. This is, first and foremost, a personal family lifestyle blog, so I embrace the opportunity to work with brands who reflect our family’s life and loves.

We’re keen adventurers and are happy to travel pretty much anywhere if there’s fun to be had. I love to document our travels and often include videos in my reviews too, just as much to capture those family memories as to showcase the brand to my audience.
Over the years we’ve worked with various travel companies, including (but not limited to) the Isle of Wight with Blue Chip Holidays, France with Siblu, Spain with Brittany Ferries and holidays in the UK to Cornwall with Trevella.
With a husband who’s a teacher and a five year old now at school, we’re tied to school holiday travel opportunities unfortunately. However, we love a mini jaunt at the weekend and have reviewed various mini break experiences, including a mini break to Bedruthan Hotel in Cornwall, a mini-break to Falmouth, along with our first family festival experiences to The Sunrise Festival and Cornbury Festival.
Occasionally I review products that are relevant to my life as a mum. Reviews take a lot of time to photograph, write well and promote across social media, so I only take on reviews of products I would genuinely want to buy myself. For example, I worked with Mamas and Papas to review a stroller from their new limited edition Liberty range because I adore Liberty print fabric. I’m also keen on babywearing and have reviewed various babywearing products, including the Pao Papoose sling, which I still love even though my baby is now a toddler.
As a self-confessed interiors junkie I also love to write about our home and have worked on various brand campaigns that reflect this, including with Feather and Black to promote their bedroom range. As well as a blogger, I’m also an interiors journalist for a range of lifestyle magazines (see my hire me page for more information on that) and, this year, I founded the collaborative interiors blog and YouTube channel Roost, so any review opportunities here may cross over to there too.
Sponsored posts make up a percentage of my monthly income and enable me to run this blog as a professional site. My rates reflect the time I put into writing my posts, taking photographs or video (or both) for them and promoting them across my social media platforms.
I love to work with brands on engaging sponsored content and have enjoyed the opportunity of working on some fantastic campaigns since I started blogging. Some great examples include a collaboration with a childcare website to talk about parents’ date nights and choosing childcare, a commission from a design brand to showcase their brand new inspirational children’s book and a fun campaign and photo shoot with childrenswear brand Happyology Kidswear.
When it comes to brand collaborations, I really enjoy building up long term relationships with brands that are a relevant fit for my blog. With this in mind, I’ve worked as a brand ambassador for Huggies Wipes, Britax, LeapFrog and – most recently – Organix.
Often an ambassador role will include attenting events, writing about products and taking part in creative challenges online.
