We have a deep connection, my husband and I. We discuss the truth of life often and have been known to talk deep into the night about philosophy and the cosmos.

The same is true of car journeys.

Because we are connected on a higher level, sharing an understanding of things above and beyond the minutae of daily life, we don’t talk about the humdrum things while driving to a destination.
